I’m taking time this Memorial Day to remember someone very special from my past. My grandfather was a World War I veteran. He served in France in 1918. He fought in the trenches at Chateau Thierry. He was the kindest gentleman I’ve ever known.

The horrors he experienced would haunt him for the rest of his long life. He was a big influence on me, helping to shape me into the man I am today.

Thank You, Joseph Morin, and R.I.P. 1898-1994
